From being a C when we met to swelling to an I while nursing our children, to seeing me “deflate” back down to a G when all was said and done. He finally felt that I had been suffering long enough with the massive heavy boobs that he set the appointment for the referral for me!
Wemt into my PCM to ask for the referral, and she was very quick to say not a problem amd submit the request to the insurance company. Within two weeks I had a consultation set up with Dr. Church. Dr. Church immediately put me at ease. He asked me what size I was, what size I wanted to be, and what kind of problems my breasts were giving me. After that he did some measurements, took some pictures, and told me that I was a textbook case of needing a reduction. He was skeptical about insurance approving the procedure, but only because this insurance is known for declining the procedure.
Two weeks later, I recieve a call saying that my insurance approved it! I was literally in the middle of a busy store and started jumping up and down with happiness. I scheduled the pre op for 6 days later, and the prodecure for 13 days after the pre op.
Flash forward to this past Monday, the 24th. Dr Church was amazing. He was very thorough with explaining everything to my husbamd and myself. Everything he said would happen happened.
Now, four days post op and I am very pleased with everything. I still am extremely sore, cant lift my arms much at all. Lots of soreness in my pecs, shoulders, bis, tris, and lats. The incisions themselves dont hurt at all. Tons of bruising, but I exoected that. Thank goodness for percocet, even if it does make me itch (benadryl takes care of that). I can finally go pee alone!
