What is Dermaplane

Dermaplane is a manual exfoliation technique similar to microdermabrasion but has the added benefit of vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) removal. It uses a blade to gently scrape away the dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. While it can be done on its own, it is often combined with other treatments such as micropeels/masks.

The process allows for deeper peel and product penetration. Additionally, it improves makeup application and the appearance of fine lines. It should not be done on active acne. This is a pregnancy-safe treatment!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have chosen Dr. Church and La Belle Vie for my breast augmentation. Leslye was amazing!!! My lips are still slightly swollen since it’s only been three days but I can tell that the shape and size of my lips are exactly what I wanted.
